I've used WinToFlash to successfully install Windows XP RTM on an Asus EEE PC 900HD.

Wanted to install a nLite'd version with SP3 slipstreamed but got BSODs on install. RTM ('SP0') worked OK though.

Bootmgr Is Missing Windows 7

·What exactly happens when you try to boot from internal Hard disk?

Bootmgr Download For Xp

·What is the exact error message do you get when you try to boot from internal HDD?

·Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

Unfortunately you cannot install Windows XP or any other Windows Operating system in External Hard disk drive. Please provide us more information regarding the issue so that we can assist you further.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to boot into BIOS and check if internal hard disk get detected. If so then try changing the boot priority to Hard disk and check if you can boot. For more information on BIOS settings check the computer manual or contact the computer manufacturer.
